What a great conference: the Acoustics ’17 meeting in Boston, a joint meeting of the ASA and EAA (June 25-29, 2017)! NAG members (Brenna Boyd, Laura Brill, Anna Catton, and Joonhee Lee) presented technical papers in a number of sessions, some of which were live streamed. Laura Brill’s paper “Compiled Acoustic and Indoor Environmental Condition Data from 220 K-12 Classrooms” received the Best Student Paper Award in Architectural Acoustics at Acoustics ’17 – congratulations, Laura!
To celebrate Dr. Wang’s recent election to ASA President-Elect, we had not one but two social events: Karaoke Night on Sunday 6/25/17 and NAG Board Game Night on Wednesday 6/28/27, featuring New England lobster rolls and crab cakes.
