Nebraska Acoustics Group members had a wonderful time at the International Congress on Acoustics in Montreal, June 2013 (joint with the Acoustical Society of America meeting). Highlights included: celebrating Dr. Leo Beranek receiving the 75-year ASA Member Certificate; NAG Game Night featuring a new game (the 5-Second Rule), Mafia, Canadian beer, and beer brewed and brought by Penn Stater Andrew Christian; Andrew Hathaway, receiving the NCAC Student Travel Grant Award; a full session on recent work covering how noise impacts human performance and perception; and an excellent French meal with some NAG alums at Bonaparte restaurant.
