At the University of Nebraska – Omaha’s 2019 Honors Convocation, NAG member Sam Underwood received the prestigious UNO Senior Vice Chancellor Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award. Sam’s nomination was forwarded by the UNL College of Engineering Dean’s Office, as he was selected for the College of Engineering Dean’s Award (also recognized at the same convocation). This is the first time in many years that a College of Engineering student was chosen for the top undergraduate student award at the UNO campus; congratulations Sam!
