The University of Nebraska ASA (UNASA) Student Chapter was pleased to sponsored two activities in fall 2020. The first was a presentation on October 16 by Tony Baxter and alum Ryan Skoug of ESI Engineering on assorted structural vibration projects that their company had worked on. The meeting was held jointly with the University of Nebraska ASCE Student Chapter. Then on November 30, the chapter hosted Dawn Schuette and Shane Kanter from Threshold Acoustics and Prof. Seth Shafer (Assistant Professor of Music Technology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha), as they led a virtual tour of Strauss Performing Arts Center and its recent renovation.
