Congratulations to Matthew Blevins who has been awarded a 2015 Leo Beranek Student Medal from the Institute of Noise Control Engineering for excellence in the study of noise control (graduate level)! Blevins was honored for his research on using impedance-mobility models to study acoustic metamaterials. Blevins is the first person to receive the Beranek Student Medal at both the undergraduate (while at Purdue) and graduate (while at UNL) levels.
