A number of NAG members participated in the last ASA conference in Pittsburgh (May 18-22, 2015). Matt Blevins, Madeline Davidson, and Joonhee Lee all presented technical papers that were well-received. We are also very proud of Jay Bliefnick who received a commendation award for his ASA Student Design Competition entry (the only winning entry designed by a team of only one student)! There were a large number of NAG alums at the conference, many of whom stopped by NAG Game Night after the TCAA meeting on Tuesday – we particularly enjoyed ‘One Night Ultimate Werewolf’ (thanks James Cottrell!) and ‘Ticket to Ride’! Many alums were also on hand to see Dr. Lily Wang receive an engraved crystal apple as a memento of the 2015 ASA Student Council Mentoring Award. Check out additional photos on our Picasa webpage.
